Re-branding Yourself

It’s time to step things up. I want to rise to the next level, and I’ve decided if I want to attract 10s to my business, I need to become a 10 myself.

“What do you say when someone asks, ‘What have you been up to lately?’ Don’t waste the opportunity with a ridiculous platitude such as ‘not much’ or ‘same old, same old’,” says Dorie Clark, author of Reinventing You: Define Your Brand, Imagine Your Future. “It’s not that difficult if you plan in advance. If you’re going to an event where you’ll be meeting people, go into it with one thing you want to talk about.”

A powerful onversationalist leaves a stronger impression on people.

I’ve created a list of things to work on, such as; filtering what I say, dressing presentable, being more confident etc. Re-branding just means changing how others view you. How you are perceived is important especially when meeting new professional contacts.

Prospective business partners, and employers often check social media to see what kind of reputation you have. So always use good photos for profile pictures.

The most important thing to remember is to protect your brand by believing in yourself, and never giving up.
